FAQs

Straight answers.

If a question is not answered here, it is worth a phone call — the honest answer usually depends on the tract.

Nine questions we get asked before the first visit.

  • Do you look at the property before quoting it?

Yes. Every tract is assessed in person. Walking it is the only way to record what is actually growing there, how the ground drains, where the access is, and what timing the site allows — and all of that is what a real recommendation depends on.

  • Will I get the price in writing?

Yes. You get treatment options with the tradeoffs explained and firm pricing in writing before the work begins. Nothing is booked off a verbal number.

  • Are you licensed and insured?

We are a licensed pesticide dealer, licensed by the Mississippi Bureau of Plant Industry, and insurance is carried on the work we coordinate and supervise.

  • Do you fly the aircraft yourselves?

No. Aerial application is coordinated through established relationships with proven aerial applicators. We assess the tract, write the prescription, line up the right people and equipment for it, and supervise the work on site.

  • Who is on site while the work is happening?

Someone accountable. Treatment areas are confirmed before work begins, products are mixed and managed on site, and questions get answered as conditions change rather than after the fact.

  • Can I buy herbicide without hiring the application?

Yes. As a licensed pesticide dealer we sell herbicide direct and deliver it personally, and we will help with product selection, calibration and application procedure whether or not we are doing the work.

  • Where do you work?

The company is based in Jackson, Mississippi. Project locations and logistics are discussed tract by tract — call and tell us where the ground is.

  • How much experience is behind this?

More than 20 years of practical forestry and vegetation-management work — Weyerhaeuser, Helena, Woodlands and Herbicides Plus before founding Aerial Forestry Services in 2014. The full background is on the About page, and Frank can put you in touch with references on request.

  • How do I get started?

Call the office and ask for a site assessment — Frank at 601-310-0984, or email frank@aerialforestryservices.com.
