Herbaceous Weed Control Treatments

These Treatments address the herbaceous (weeds, grasses, and vines) component on the site. This treatment will not only eliminate the herbaceous component but will also keep the site clean for several months by preventing many grass and weed specie’s seeds from germinating.

These treatments can be done in the spring to reduce herbaceous competition to newly planted trees, or it can be added to a late summer, early fall site Site Preparation Treatment prior to planting trees.

By eliminating or reducing the herbaceous competition to the newly planted trees, their survival and growth are significantly improved. This is a critical treatment because it gives the newly planted trees better access to the available moisture and nutrients at a time they are becoming established.
