Site Preparation Treatments

• These treatments prepare a site (tract of land) to be planted the following year, by eliminating the other plant competition. This allows the “soon to be planted” trees to have complete access to all the available water and nutrients.
• These treatments are the most effective & economical way to establish a new plantation, because most all of the competition can eliminated before the new plantation is established. The herbaceous treatment can be added to reduce the cost of two separate treatments.
